PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a novel compound having applicability to various applications; an antimicrobial agent comprising the novel compound; and further an infectious disease therapeutic agent in which body kinetics is excellent and therapeutic effect is excellent in the antimicrobial agent.SOLUTION: Compounds or the like are represented by formula (1), antimicrobial agents comprise these compounds, and infectious disease therapeutic agents are these compounds, and are such that a structure is limited in the formula (1). In the formula (1), Xto Xeach independently denote H, F, Cl, Br, a methyl group, a dimethylamino group or a trifluoromethoxy group, provided that n (n is 2, 3 or 4) in Xto Xdenotes H; Ydenotes H or a methyl group; and Xdenotes a nitro group or an aldehyde group. |
