PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preliminarily rotate a press roller by transmitting a drive force to be obtained when a paper discharge motor is reversely rotated, to the press roller.SOLUTION: In a mimeographic printer 1, a made-up mimeographic base paper M is wound around an outer circumferential surface 61a of a rotatable cylindrical plate cylinder 61, and a press roller 81 arranged below the plate cylinder 61 is provided to be brought into contact with/separate from the side of the plate cylinder 61. The mimeographic printer 1 includes: a paper discharge motor 117 provided downstream of the plate cylinder 61 in a conveyance direction of paper P so as to rotate forward or backward, and driven in a direction where the printed paper P is discharged during forward rotation; and a drive transmission means 90A or 90B rotating the paper discharge motor 117 reversely to the forward rotation and transmitting a drive force, when the paper discharge motor 117 is reversely rotated, to the press roller 81 to preliminarily rotate the press roller 81, separated from the side of the plate cylinder 61, in the same direction as the direction of discharging the paper P, during printing preparation. |
