PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional IPM in that a normal temperature cannot be known even if a voltage of a diode for detecting temperature of a semiconductor chip is compared with a reference value for determining overheating, and a ground voltage is outputted to a temperature information external terminal during overheating while a reference voltage of a driver circuit is outputted during low normal period as temperature information.SOLUTION: Using a comparator, a forward descendent voltage of a diode for detecting temperature is compared with a reference value to determine overheating, and at the same time, it is inputted in a series regulator circuit that uses an amplifier and a resistor, and an output voltage of the series regulator circuit is outputted to a temperature information external terminal as temperature information. |
