PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical vacuum cleaner having a removable attachment nozzle, capable of achieving compactness and improved appearance.SOLUTION: Provided is a vertical vacuum cleaner having: a suction tool 19 for floor on the lower side of a cleaner body 10; a removable gap suction pipe 18 in the cleaner body 10; and a carrying handle 16 capable of carrying the cleaner body 10, provided on the upper part of the cleaner body 10. The gap suction pipe 18 is disposed at the back of the cleaner body 10 via a hose 30, and an attachment nozzle 33 connected removably to the gap suction pipe 18 is disposed between the hose 30 and the rear surface of the cleaner body 10. The attachment nozzle 33 is out of sight behind the cleaner body 10 and the hose 30 when viewed from the front and back of the cleaner body 10. Thus, the compactness and improved appearance of the vertical vacuum cleaner can be achieved. |
