PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device of a solar cell panel capable of constantly monitoring hot spot occurrence.SOLUTION: An abnormality detection device of a solar cell panel comprises: a frequency-variable AC power supply which applies AC voltage to a solar cell panel 2; current measurement means 11 for measuring the AC current flowing in the solar cell panel 2; an AC resistance frequency characteristic operation unit 12 for determining an AC resistance frequency characteristic of the solar cell panel 2 on the basis of the AC voltage applied to the solar cell panel 2 and the AC current measured by the current measurement means; and an abnormality determination unit 13 which determines whether a hot spot occurred in the solar cell panel 2 by comparing the AC resistance frequency characteristic determined by the AC resistance frequency characteristic operation unit 12 with the normal AC resistance frequency characteristic measured in advance. |
