PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treatment method in which an inorganic coagulant is not added or an addition amount is reduced, and that obtains treated water with high clarity.SOLUTION: A waste water treatment method includes: a first flocculation process that adds an organic coagulant to waste water and mixes them to form a first flocculation flock, wherein the organic coagulant comprises a water-soluble polymer that contains at least 50-100 mol% of a composition component derived from a cationic monomer shown by general formula (1) CH=CR-CO-X-Q-NRRR_Z(1) and that has 3-8 dl/g of an intrinsic viscosity when measured at 30°C to/with wastewater; and a second flocculation process that adds and mixes a polymer flocculant to/with the wastewater that has formed the first flocculation flock to form a second flocculation flock. |
