FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM, SCRAMJET ENGINE, AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

This fuel supply system comprises a fuel modifier for pyrolyzing a hydrocarbon-based fuel by heat from a combustion chamber of a scramjet engine to create modified fuel and cool the combustion chamber. The modified fuel is combusted in the combustion chamber. The fuel modifier includes a zeolite-based catalyst and a platinum group catalyst. Easily combustible methane is thereby selectively created as the modified fuel.
