PURPOSE: An auto-correction apparatus for the transmission error of the voltage and the current of a power distribution apparatus and a method thereof are provided to correct the error that is present in voltage and current values by further accurate measurement, thereby being operated with high reliability. CONSTITUTION: An auto-correction apparatus for the transmission error includes a first measurement unit, a second measurement unit, a processing unit, and a correction unit. The first measurement unit (110) defines the reference value by measuring the current and voltage values flowing in the power distribution line. The current and the voltage values which are measured in the power distribution apparatus installed in the power distribution line are converted to the predetermined reference ratio in a transducer, and the second measurement unit (120) is provided to be output. The processing unit calculates and processes the error value of conversion value when the ratio of the reference value and the conversion value are not included in the error range of the predetermined reference ratio. The correction unit corrects the conversion value by controlling a variable resistance based on the error value.
