A method for determining the morphological parameters of the lateral nasal walls in the fetal and neonatal periods by morphometry. The vertical and anteroposterior dimensions of the side walls are determined, the thickness of the septum with the mucous membrane, taking into account the shape of the skull: dolichocrania, mezocrania, and brachycrania.
