PURPOSE: A device for collecting waste heat from a vehicle is provided to improve an output function by smoothly discharging exhaust gas without the exchange between coolant and the exhaust gas in a high RPM area. CONSTITUTION: A device for collecting waste heat from a vehicle comprises a housing, an exhaust gas inlet pipe(10), an exhaust gas outlet pipe(30), an exhaust gas bypass(12), a coolant path(22), and a valve unit(40). The exhaust gas bypass is positioned outside the exhaust gas inlet pipe. The coolant path is placed outside the exhaust gas bypass. The valve unit is installed at the rear end of the exhaust gas inlet pipe to be opened and closed. A first spiral member is installed inside the exhaust gas bypass so that the inside is a spiral channel. The coolant path comprises a second spiral member inside. The first spiral member and second spiral member are oppositely formed each other from the center shaft of the exhaust gas inlet pipe. |
