PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for inkjet printing suitable for printing on a non-absorbing cylindrical container such as a seamless can used for food and beverage while retaining excellent properties of the inkjet printing.SOLUTION: The ink for inkjet printing used for inkjet printing on a non-ink-absorbing surface of a cylindrical container consists of at least a water-soluble solvent, a colorant, a surfactant, a thickener, and/or a binder resin, and contains 5-20 wt.% colorant, 0.1-5 wt.% surfactant, 10 wt.% or less thickener, and 30 wt.% or less binder resin.
