PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase user-friendliness through allowing recognition of information contents stored in another card, while opening a predetermined card and inputting data.SOLUTION: Display image memory stores, as display image data, data of image data obtained by synthesizing image data indicating a card CD3 of a "basic setting" and image data indicating data of a "paper size" and a "print direction" input from a card CD4 of a "paper setting" other than the card CD3. Accordingly, CRT displays, on the card CD3 of the "basic setting," an image describing the data of the "paper size" and the "print direction" input from the card CD4 of the "paper setting" other than the card CD3. Thus, while selecting the card CD3 of the "basic setting" and inputting data, an operator is allowed to recognize the data set from the card CD4 of the "paper setting" other than the card CD3, from the CRT. |
