PURPOSE: An extrapolation method for unit disassembly for multi-resolution simulation in a ground force battle simulation system is provided to improve simulation consistency in the ground force battle simulation system by maintaining simulation consistency for separating units by object unit by setting attribute of the ground force battle simulation system. CONSTITUTION: A multi-resolution manager stores battle records referred for the unit separation of a low resolution model when the low resolution model is interlinked with a high resolution model in a ground force battle simulation model. Fighting power and armament states of each member are calculated by referring to the records. A basic formation is calculated by designating a relative position with a reference member as the center. A position is reset by considering natural or man-made features. A boundary direction, a moving direction, and a moving speed are finally set by considering an enemy state and a mission granted to allies.
