PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability for assembling a spring load adjusting device by screwing a fork bolt as a sub assembly with an operation element and an adjuster nut preassembled thereto, into a cap that is fixed beforehand to one of a vehicle tube and an axle tube.SOLUTION: In a spring load adjusting device 50 for a damper, a guide part 60 is provided near the side of a forward threading direction where a fork bolt 31 with an operation element 51 and an adjuster nut 54 preassembled thereto, is threaded to a cap 30 and rotated in an assembly stage where the fork bolt 31 is threaded into the cap 30, with respect to a stopper hole 30D of an intermediate rack part 30C of the cap 30 in an inner circumference erected from the intermediate rack part 30C of the cap 30. |
