PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound type self-power generation system that is made low-cost and high in power generation, and can stably supply electric power.SOLUTION: A compound type self-power generation system 1 includes a photovoltaic power generation device 2, a power storage device 3 and a turbine generator 4 which compensate for deficiency in electric power of photovoltaic power generation, a camera 6 for meteorological observation, a photovoltaic power generation amount prediction device 7 which predicts the amount of sunlight on the basis of an image that the camera 6 for meteorological observation picks up and predicts a photovoltaic generation amount obtained by the photovoltaic power generation device 2, and a power generation control device 5 which controls the operation of the turbine generator 4 or the operation of the turbine generator 4 and the power storage device 3 on the basis of the photovoltaic generation amount that the photovoltaic power generation amount prediction device 7 predicts. Consequently, the turbine generator 4 only needs to be placed in intermittent operation, and the capacity of the power storage device 3 needs not be unnecessarily large. |
