PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coating diamond with metal in a non-peelable manner by chemical reaction, and diamonds coated with non-peelable metal applied by the method.SOLUTION: A method for coating diamonds with non-peelable metal in the atmosphere comprises: a first step of preparing diamonds, metal powder of either mixed powder of Cr metal powder and Cr oxide powder or single Cr metal powder, a disintegration auxiliary, and a heating device; a second step of mixing the metal powder, the disintegration auxiliary, and the diamonds with each other, and sealing them in a container; a third step of heating the container to chemically react the metal powder with the diamond surfaces; a fourth step for cooling the mixture of the diamonds, metal powder, and disintegration auxiliary; and a fifth step for separating and collecting the metal-coated diamonds from the cooled mixture. The action of the disintegration auxiliary agent prevents densification, and accelerates the disintegration of the cooled mixture. |
