PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine combustor that adopts a premixed combustion, while striking a balance between low NOx combustion and stable combustion to increase a degree of freedom of operation.SOLUTION: A gas turbine combustor in which a plurality of premixed combustion burners are disposed around a diffusion combustion burner includes: a first mixing chamber wall with a hollow conical shape for forming a first mixing chamber inside; a second mixing chamber wall with a circular shape for forming a second mixing chamber inside; a plurality of air introduction holes drilled in an axial direction and in a circumferential direction of the first and second mixing chamber walls so as to introduce air for combustion; a plurality of fuel injection holes drilled in the wall surface of the air introducing holes for injecting gas fuel toward the inner part of the air introduction holes; and a liquid fuel nozzle located on the upstream side of the first mixing chamber for injecting liquid fuel to the first and second mixing chambers. The gas turbine combustor is provided with a first fuel system for injecting gas fuel to the inner part of the air introduction holes disposed in the uppermost stream row of the plurality of air introduction holes, and a second fuel system for injecting gas fuel to the inner part of the air introduction holes other than those in the uppermost stream row.
