PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing circuit that reduces power consumption.SOLUTION: While a supply voltage is not supplied to a storage element, data stored in a first storage circuit equivalent to a volatile memory is held by a first capacitive element disposed in a second storage circuit. The use of a transistor having a channel formed in an oxide semiconductor layer keeps a signal held by the first capacitive element for a long period. The storage element can thus hold the storage content (data) even while the supply of supply voltage is stopped. Since the signal held by the first capacitive element is converted to a state of a second transistor (on state or off state) when read out from the second storage circuit, the original signal can be read out with accuracy. |
