THERMOPHOTOVOLTAIC APPARATUS HAVING REFORMER FOR GENERATING HYDROGEN

PURPOSE: A thermophotovoltaic conversion apparatus including a reforming unit for producing hydrogen is provided to produce the hydrogen without an additional power source by reforming nitrogen hydroxide using the heat of combustion by a combustion reaction. CONSTITUTION: An emitter (110) includes a large diameter part (111) and a short diameter part (112). A shielding unit (120) is separated from the outer side of the emitter. A reforming space is formed between a reforming unit (130) and the outer side of the shielding unit. A flame maintaining unit (140) is formed with a ring shape and is mounted on the short diameter part of the emitter. A photoelectric conversion unit (160) converts light from the reforming unit into electricity.
