PURPOSE: A fluid fan clutch is provided to block a power between a fan housing and a rotor rapidly by returning a fluid inside a fluid working chamber smoothly to a fluid storage chamber by extending a return flow path to a diametric direction of the fluid working chamber. CONSTITUTION: A fluid fan clutch comprises a fan housing (100), a rotor pivot (200), a rotor (300), a valve ring (500), and a check valve (600). The fan housing comprises a housing main body (110) having a fluid working chamber (D), and a housing cover (120) having a fluid storage chamber (S). The rotor pivot passes through a bottom plate of the housing main body. The rotor is fixed to the rotor pivot inside the fluid working chamber. The valve ring adheres closely to an inner wall of the fluid storage chamber, and has a penetration hole (502) in a spot corresponding to a fluid discharging outlet. The check valve closes one between a fluid collecting outlet (126) and the penetration hole, and opens the other according to a rotation angle. In a bottom plate of the fluid storage chamber, one side is corresponded to the fluid collecting outlet, and the other side comprises a return flow path (124) extended in order to be located in an edge part of the fluid working chamber. |
