PURPOSE: A hybrid seawater desalinator of non-discharging the reverse osmosis enriched water and a method thereof are provided to prevent the back diffusion in which salinity moves out of the seawater enriched water to the inflow water by moving the water included in the inflow water from the osmosis membrane in the forward osmosis module smoothly to the seawater enriched water. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid seawater desalinator of non-discharging the reverse osmosis enriched water comprises a reverse osmosis module(10), the first pressurizing unit(20), a forward osmosis module(30), a depressurizing unit, and a transfer pipe(50). The seawater enriched water of the reverse osmosis module flows into one end of the forward osmosis module. The inflow water of lower osmotic pressure compared to the seawater enriched water flows into the other end of the forward osmosis module. The first effluent of the diluted seawater is discharged from the other end of the forward osmosis module and the second effluent of the enriched inflow water is discharged from the one end of the forward osmosis module. The depressurizing unit reduces the pressure applied at the seawater enriched water resulting in the introduction of the seawater enriched water into the forward osmosis module. |
