A large diameter hole (16) is provided in a lower inner-peripheral-wall surface section of an inner-peripheral-wall surface (40a) of a second passage (40) in the axial direction, said second passage (40) having, passing therethrough, a gas refrigerant generated by an evaporator (6). One end side of an actuating rod (19) which protrudes from an upper end of a through hole (17) is provided extending through the inside of the large diameter hole (16) to the inside of the second passage (40). As a result, an end surface (18a) of a temperature-sensitive rod (18) in the axial direction, said end surface facing the actuating rod (19), is in contact with an end surface (19e) of the actuating rod (19) inside the second passage (40). Moreover, a shielding cover (22), which limits the impact, on the temperature-sensitive rod (18), of liquid refrigerant ejected towards the second passage (40) via a slide gap (17a) between the through hole (17) and the actuating rod (19), is fitted to an end portion (19d) of one end side of the actuating rod (19).
