<p>Provided is a sewing machine with which it is possible to maintain shapes of material which are folded over with material fold-over members. A sewing machine (10) comprises: a table (11) in which a fastener chain (C) is supplied to the upper face thereof; a pair of left-right material fold-over members (12) which are positioned upon the table (11), guide a left-right pair of materials (P) which are conveyed toward the upper face of the table (11), and fold over in flap shapes opposing lateral edge parts of the left-right pair of materials (P); a material conveyance path (R) which extends from the upper surfaces of the pair of left-right material fold-over members (12) toward the upper face of the table (11); a sewing machine (14) which is positioned further downstream of the material conveyance path (R) than the left-right pair of material fold-over members (12), and which stitches the left-right pair of materials (P) to the fastener chain (C); a left-right pair of pressing units (20) which, in the left-right pair of material fold-over members (12), press the left-right pair of materials (P) toward the material conveyance path (R); and a supplementary pressing unit (30) which presses the left-right pair of materials (P) toward the material conveyance path (R) between the left-right pair of material fold-over members (12) and a left-right pair of sewing machine fits (14a) of the sewing machine (14).</p> |
