<p>Disclosed are a trigger method for a communication application and an electronic device. A trigger method for a communication application is applied to an electronic device with a touch sensing device. The method comprises: after an object is selected or invoked, detecting a touch track or a touch point on a touch sensing device; matching the detected touch track or touch point with at least one standard model; and if the matching is successful, and the object can be used as a sending object of a communication application corresponding to the standard model which is successfully matched, triggering the communication application corresponding to the standard model which is successfully matched, and adding the object as an object to be sent of the communication application, different communication applications corresponding to different standard models. The technical solution in the embodiments of the present invention is favourable for simplifying a trigger mechanism for a communication application, and improves the user experience.</p> |
