<p>PURPOSE: A face authentication sensor is provided to guide the face of a person to be authenticated toward the image capturing area of the face authentication sensor regardless of the distance between the person and a camera by enabling the person to recognize a mark. CONSTITUTION: An authentication unit (12) authenticates a person to be authenticated based on the person's face image data which are captured by an image pickup device (11) and on the face image data which are registered in advance. A feedback unit guides the face of the person into an image capturing region (R). The feedback unit is a plane mirror (14) that provides a mark which is recognized only in one fixed direction inside the image capturing area. The normal line direction of the mirror coincides with the fixed direction.</p> |
