METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE OF CASTING

PURPOSE: A casting temperature control method is provided to predict the temperature of the molten steel in the last stage of a casting process, thereby preventing quality failure or a stop of the casting process. CONSTITUTION: A casting temperature control method includes the following steps of: measuring the temperature of molten steel inside a tundish; calculating a temperature gradient based on an initial measurement value among the measured temperatures of the molten steel; determining whether the calculated temperature gradient is smaller than a reference temperature gradient or not; and increasing a casting speed for maintaining the temperature of the molten steel in the last stage of a casting within a molten steel managing range of the tundish.
