PURPOSE: A power generation facility using water and a floating structure are provided to prevent a not-in-my-backyard (NIMBY) phenomenon and to contribute a tourist industry. CONSTITUTION: A power generation facility using water and a floating structure include a water gate unit (1), a power generation unit (2), and a safety unit (3). The water gate unit switches the flow of water, and has multiple passages. Both sides of the water gate unit are connected to land. The power generation unit is installed at one of the passages.
