This battery pack (10) is equipped with: a plurality of battery cells (100) connected in series; a voltage/current measurement means (voltage/current measurement unit (200)); a temperature measurement means (temperature measurement unit (300)); and a calculation means (calculation unit (420)) provided inside a calculation and communication unit (400). The calculation unit (420) calculates a "first electric energy balance" of the battery cell (100) on the basis of voltage and current, determines the internal resistance of the battery cell (100) on the basis of temperature, and calculates a "second electric energy balance" of the internal resistor on the basis of current and the internal resistance. As a result of this configuration, the calculation unit (420) calculates the stored electric energy balance (electric energy (E(t)) in the battery cell (100) on the basis of the first electric energy balance of the battery cell (100) and the second electric energy balance of the internal resistor.
