PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tightly spread a screen even when the screen is drawn out largely or horizontally.SOLUTION: A roll screen device includes a take-up roller 2 for a screen 1, guide rails 4, 4 guiding a front frame 3 fitted to the screen 1, a rope drum 5 able to rotate relative to the roller 2, a rope 6 taken up around the rope drum 5 and having its tip connected to the front frame 3, and an elastic member 7 transmitting rotation of the roller 2 to the rope drum 5 and tensing the screen 1. The elastic member 7 is operable to rotate the rope drum 5 in such a direction that the rope 6 is taken up as the roller 2 rotates in a sending-out direction and to rotate the rope drum 5 in such a direction that the rope 6 is sent out as the roller 2 rotates in a take-up direction. A take-up amount of the rope 6 is set to be larger than a sending-out amount of the screen 1, and a deformation amount of the elastic member 7 increases as the front frame 3 is moved to increase tension applied to the screen 1. |
