PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector capable of making an inspection space small and an inspection method using the reflector.SOLUTION: A reflector 10 is used for performing inspection of a rader system 20 for detecting a relative speed with respect to an object by utilizing the Doppler effect, by simulating an environment where the relative speed can be acquired. The reflector 10 includes: an annular reflection belt 11 having a reflection plane T reflecting a sub-millimeter wave radiated from the rader system 20 and wound around two pulleys 12; and a motor 13 rotating the reflection belt 11 around the two pulleys 12. The reflection belt 11 is arranged opposite to the rader system 20 during inspection and is rotated by the motor 13. The reflection plane T is disposed inclined to the rader system 20 such that a component approaching the rader system 20 or a component moving away from the rader system 20 is formed as its own speed component, while the sub-millimeter wave radiated from the rader system 20 is reflected to the rader system 20. |
