PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit effectively using an image shaking correction function provided to the lens unit and a camera body without complicating control.SOLUTION: The lens unit (4) is characterized by including: a lens barrel (35); an actuator for image shaking correction (46) driving a lens for correction of image shaking (44) on a plane which is orthogonal to an optical axis; angle shaking detection means (48a, 48b) for detecting shaking due to rotation; shift shaking detection means (49a, 49b) for detecting shaking due to parallel movement; control means (56) for executing angle shaking control and shift shaking control; information acquirement means (58) for acquiring information regarding a camera body; and correction mode switching means (56a) for switching the control based on the acquired information to a first control mode for carrying out angle shaking and shift shaking control, a second control mode for carrying out only the shift shaking control, and a third control mode not carrying out shaking correction. |
