PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery having a high capacity and excellent cycle characteristics, and a vehicle equipped with the lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: The lithium ion secondary battery includes a positive electrode and a negative electrode, the positive electrode contains a positive electrode active material containing no Li, the negative electrode contains a negative electrode active material, and at least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode contains a binder. The binder has an alkoxysilyl group represented by the formula (I): RSiO, where m represents an integer from 0 to 2, and Rrepresents an alkyl or aryl group with a carbon number of 8 or smaller. The binder is a cured alkoxy-containing silane-modified polyimide resin satisfying that the ratio of imido groups to amic acid groups is 99:1-70:30. |
