PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-manganese-based composite oxide having a structure exhibiting a high capacity.SOLUTION: A lithium-manganese-based composite oxide includes two or more transition metal elements containing Li and Mn as indispensable elements and has a crystal structure belonging to a layered rock-salt structure. The ratio (I/I) of the total value Iof the intensity of a diffraction peak corresponding to (020) plane, the intensity of a diffraction peak corresponding to (110) plane, and the intensity of a diffraction peak corresponding to (-111) plane to the intensity Iof a diffraction peak corresponding to (001) plane is ≤0.07, in an X-ray diffraction pattern using CuKα ray, and the half-value width of the diffraction peak corresponding to the (001) plane is ≤0.5° in terms of 2&thetas;. |
