PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device capable of backing up electric power even when a capacitor is used and calculating a degradation degree.SOLUTION: A power supply device 11 comprises: a power storage unit 13 composed of a capacitor; a charge circuit 15 and a discharge circuit 17 electrically connected to the power storage unit 13; and a control circuit 19 electrically connected to the charge circuit 15 and the discharge circuit 17. When use of the power supply device ends, the control circuit 19 discharges the power storage unit 13 by the discharge circuit 17 till a voltage Vc of the power storage unit reaches a predetermined voltage Vk which can measure the degradation degree of the power storage unit 13. When use of power supply device is started next time, that is, when the charge circuit 15 charges the power storage unit 13, the control circuit 19 measures the degradation degree of the power storage unit 13. |
