PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and imaging system capable of minutely specifying an abnormal part inside the imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a sensor part 244a for outputting electric signals after photoelectric conversion from a plurality of pixels as image information; an AFE part 244b for performing signal processing of the signals including the image information that has been outputted from the imaging part 244a; and a transmission part (a P/S conversion part 244c) for transmitting the signals processed by the AFE part 244b to an outside. The sensor part 244a, the AFE part 244b, and the transmission part generate determination signals to be used for determining their own operation states respectively.
