PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loss in convenience to a consumer in a power stringency state.SOLUTION: A power demand control device includes: a consumer information gathering section 1 which gathers declaration information associated with a power use state of a consumer; a demand amount calculation section 2 which calculates a demand amount by totaling power consumption of the consumer on the basis of the declaration information; a supply amount calculation section 3 which calculates a supply amount to be distributed to the consumer by determining a demand balance based upon the demand amount calculated by the demand amount calculation section 2 and a supply amount based upon a load limit command from a load-dispatching office; and a supply command section 4 which sends a supply command to the consumer on the basis of the supply amount calculated by the supply amount calculation section 3.
