PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grindstone molding method which can measure an abrasive grain protrusion amount during grindstone molding, and a grinder.SOLUTION: After the truing of a grinding wheel 7 of a metal bond, there are measured first capacitance Ctbeing a value obtained by measuring capacitance between a capacitance sensor 122 which is separated by dand a molding face f by an amount of the entire periphery of the grinding wheel 7, and second capacitance Ctbeing a value obtained by measuring capacitance between the capacitance sensor 122 which is separated by dand the molding face f by the amount of the entire periphery of the grinding wheel. After dressing, there are measured, for a prescribed number of times all over the entire periphery of the grinding wheel 7, third capacitance Cdbeing a value obtained by measuring capacitance between the capacitance sensor 122 which is separated by dand the molding face f by the amount of the grinding wheel, and fourth capacitance Cdbeing a value obtained by measuring capacitance between the capacitance sensor 122 which is separated by dand the molding face f by the amount of the grinding wheel. The abrasive grain protrusion amount h after the dressing is calculated by a formula: h=((Ct-Cd) d-(Ct-Cd) d)/((Ct-Cd) d-(Ct-Cd) d). |
