PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a large wasteful liquid consumption is needed for a bubble discharge.SOLUTION: A head tank 101 includes: a negative pressure geared valve 105 that opens when a negative pressure in the head tank 101 is larger than a given value; an air opening valve 111 through which an ink chamber 106 in the head tank 101 can lead to the outside air; an exhaust gas passage 112 that passes through the air opening valve 111 and the ink chamber 106 in the head tank 101; and a float valve 110 that closes the exhaust gas passage 112 in response to an ink amount in the ink chamber 106 in the head tank 101. When exhausting gas from the exhaust gas passage 112 by a suction device 130, the ink is force-fed from an ink cartridge 76 by driving a pressurizing pump 78. |
