PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a protection function used for inhibiting malfunctions of an apparatus outside the range of an operation guarantee temperature in a limited mounting area at low costs.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic oscillation device 100 includes a piezoelectric element array 130 which includes multiple first piezoelectric elements 31 outputting ultrasonic waves and a second piezoelectric element 32 serving as a temperature sensor. The ultrasonic oscillation device 100 has an input part 20 that inputs an oscillation signal to the first piezoelectric elements 31 thereby causing the first piezoelectric elements 31 to vibrate and output the ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic oscillation device 100 further includes: a temperature determination part 40 determining a temperature on the basis of an output signal from the second piezoelectric element 32; and a stop part 50 that stops the ultrasonic wave output operation of the first piezoelectric elements 31 according to the temperature determined by the temperature determination part 40.
