PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a normal function of a parking brake for a vehicle by an easy measure, even when temperature of a brake disc is high.SOLUTION: In a parking brake 1 that includes an electric brake motor 3, a roadway incline where a vehicle stops is measured. When the roadway incline exceeds a threshold value, movement of the vehicle is observed over a prescribed period after end of an initial clamping process to reach a target clamping force. When the movement of the vehicle is confirmed, retightening is done by a new operation of the electric brake motor. |
