PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce torque of a fixation motor more than normal torque when deposition is likely to occur in a fixation device, to prevent damage and the like of a gear transmitting a drive and to suppress increase in defect portions.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes a power source part, a fixation device, a power swith, a storage unit, a fixation motor and a drive transmission part. The power source part generates and supplies voltage. The fixation device includes a heating rotator, a heater and a pressure rotator. The power switch is a switch to turn off the power of the image formation device. The storage unit stores recording data indicating that the power has been turned off by an operation of the power switch. An electric current is applied to the fixation motor so as to start rotating at first torque when the storage unit stores the recording data, and unless stored, the electric current is applied so as to start rotating at second torque smaller than the first torque. |
