PURPOSE: A rolling apparatus and method are provided to prevent center and edge waves of a rolled material by rolling the front and rear ends of the rolled material with increased bending forces. CONSTITUTION: A rolling method comprises the steps of: rolling a front end-side first portion of a material with a bender force smaller than a predetermined bender force(S130), rolling a rear end-side second portion of the material with a bender force larger than the predetermined bender force(S150), and rolling a portion of the material between the first and second portions with the predetermined bender force(S160). When rolling the first portion of the material, the bending force increases from the front end to the inside of the material. When rolling the second portion of the material, the bending force increase from the inside to the rear end of the material.
