PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication terminal device that receives Cognitive Pilot Channel (CPC) signals that may be sent on a specific reserved channel in cellular radio communication systems based on cognitive radio and software defined radio paradigms.SOLUTION: A mobile radio communication device comprises: a cognitive pilot channel receiver 602 to receive cognitive pilot channel information via a predefined physical radio channel; a determination circuit 604 to determine whether a predefined receiving criterion of the receiving of radio signals is fulfilled or not; and a cognitive pilot channel receiver activator 606 to activate the cognitive pilot channel receiver 602 on the basis whether the predefined receiving criterion of the receiving of radio signals is fulfilled or not.
