PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wipe a nozzle face of an inkjet head always at the same constant pressure irrespective of each piece of equipment or each time of maintenances.SOLUTION: In a nozzle face cleaning device for cleaning a nozzle face of an inkjet head with a wiping member, the above problem is solved by the nozzle face cleaning device including: an elevating/lowering means for relatively elevating/lowering the nozzle face and the wiping member; a detection means for detecting whether or not the wiping member is abutted; a wiping means for relatively moving the wiping member and the nozzle face along the nozzle face; and a control means which stops the elevating/lowering operation of the elevating/lowering means based on the result of detection of the detection means, and executes the wiping operation by the wiping means at the elevating/lowering stop position. |
