The plug (10) has contact pins (16) for attaching a switching valve, and a cable connector (14) for attaching a control cable to the plug. A programmable microprocessor (18) controls different operation modes of the plug, and a programming interface (20) is provided for programming different operation modes of the plug from outside. The programming interface is formed as a plug connector (22) e.g. M8-connector or M12 connector, which is accessed on an outside of a housing (12). The interface works by inductive or capacitive coupling. A LED (26) is integrated in the plug. The plug is provided with a barcode or radio frequency identification (RFID) chip. |
