PURPOSE: A floating offshore structure is provided to effectively compensate for one of longitudinal and transverse motions due to the movement of a hull without highly increasing expenses. CONSTITUTION: A floating offshore structure(1) comprises a girder(100), a stool(200), and a motion compensating connection part(300). The girder forms the lower part of a truss structure(TC) arranged in the upper part of a hull(H). The stool is arranged under the girder to support the truss structure. The motion compensating connection part allows relative movements between the girder and the stool to compensate for one of longitudinal and transverse motions. The motion compensating connection part comprises one or more plate parts(310) and a connection member(350). The plate parts are extended from the girder and the stool in parallel. The connection member connects the plate parts. |
