The valve (1) has a housing (2) comprising a spraying opening (16) at a discharge side (17), and an armature (11) linearly movable by a magnetic coil (4). A linearly-movable valve needle (8) is provided for opening and closing the spraying opening, and has stoppers (14, 15) on respective sides of the armature. The armature is linearly movable between the stoppers opposite to the valve needle. Two stop surfaces are formed for one of the stoppers. A hydraulic pad designed as a cavity (19) is arranged at one of the stop surfaces, where the cavity is filled with medium i.e. fuel. |
