PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring charging levels in the carbonizing chamber of a coke oven is provided to implement an optimal charging by accurately identifying the charging states of charging coals, and prevent gas leakage by preventing the deviation of the amount of the charging coals. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for measuring charging levels in the carbonizing chamber of a coke oven comprises a first measuring unit, a second measuring unit, and a controlling unit. The first measuring unit measures the level heights of charging coals respectively located on plural charging inlets. The first measuring unit included in a charging car equipped on the upper portion of the chamber measures the level heights of charging coals using MW(microwave). The second measuring unit measures the extruding level of the charging coals extruded from inside the chamber. The controlling unit profiles the final levels of cokes by using the level heights measured by the first measuring unit and the extruding levels measured by the second measuring unit. The second measuring unit is equipped in a conveying car equipped in one side of the chamber, and includes a MW measuring instrument which measures the extruding level of the charging coals extruded from inside the chamber by using the MV.
