PURPOSE: A regenerative brake for an electric two-wheel vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to facilitate regenerative braking operation by optimizing regenerative power because a driver uses regenerative braking at all times when the driver puts on the brake. CONSTITUTION: A regenerative brake for an electric two-wheel vehicle comprises a handle (110), a brake lever (120), a sensor (130), a disc head (140), and a brake disc (150). The handle is included on both sides of a steering device of the electric two-wheel vehicle. The brake lever is formed to have a predetermined angle from one side of the handle to the other side. The brake lever is moved to touch the handle depending on the operation of a driver or returns to have the predetermined angle. The sensor applies regenerative braking power corresponding to the angle amount changed depending on the operation of the brake lever to a driving motor. The disc head moves to the brake disc or the other side of the brake disc with a gap corresponding to the operation of the brake lever. The brake disc enables the electric two-wheeled vehicle to brake with the friction with the disc head.
