PURPOSE: An expanded perlite molded body, a vacuum insulation material using the same and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance specific surface area and peel strength. CONSTITUTION: An expanded perlite molded body comprises 90-10wt% of expanded perlite and 10-90 wt% of organic cure type powder binder. The expanded perlite molded body additionally includes 0.5-50 parts by weight of reinforcing fiber based on 100 parts by weight of the expanded perlite. The expanded perlite molded body additionally includes 5-200 parts by weight of reinforcing agent based on 100 parts by weight of the organic cure type powder binder. A vacuous insulator comprises an upper cover material(1), a lower cover material(2), and an expanded perlite molded body.
